Red peppers, onions, mushrooms, and ricotta

Favorite Verse:

Colossians 3:15-17 ‘Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the words of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.’

Favorite Author:

Ted Dekker, Frank Peretti, and the Apostle Paul

If I could be a Superhero:

I wouldn’t, because having superpowers would make life boring by removing the challenges. If I had to be though, I’d want to be able to fly.

After the Bible… This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti or Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller

The Circle Trilogy by Ted Dekker and The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini

People assuming that homeschoolers are unsocialized, and people acting like know-it-alls.

Independence Day

How has God shaped you in this past year?:

God has pushed me into being more outspoken about my faith, caring more about His plan for me than what others think, and having more confidence in my identity in Christ

Hidden Talents:

Mimicking backyard birds and making stuffed animals

Best Thing About Me:

I guess the fact that I’m pretty patient and that I don’t mind being a ‘listener’.

Worst Thing About Me:

I can be too much of a literalist…

Favorite Time of Day:

Late at night when I can see the stars and enjoy the silence.

Most Visited Website:

Probably either Yahoo or Google to look stuff up…

Any Final Words?:

Take the time to really appreciate how amazing God and His creation is! Most of us, me included, are usually too busy trying to get things done for God that we don’t take the time to really look at and admire what He’s done for us!
