So we went into the hospital this morning @ 7am…knowing Jimmy was coming. that’s right folks…we’ve known it was boy since July. if you want to know how we found out…you’ll have to ask us:)
About 8:30am they started Eileen on some meds that would jump start the labor and gave her the epidural (the medicine that helps you not feel the labor:)). well…the epidural didn’t really take (and they have to stick a needle in your back to give it to you!!) it worked from about 830 to 12, then just stopped. So they decided to try it again (another needle to the back around 3pm) and that one took for about 1/2 hour. that’s all…then poor leen was feeling every bit of of every contraction until about 5:30 when the doctor came in and announced it was time to push.
soooo…leen was a BEAST!!! she buckled down, with NO EPIDURAL, pushed 5 times, and out came James Anthony (jimmy) @ 5:44pm. she felt every bit of the delivery and cried just about as much as Jimmy did. She described it as the most painful but the most amazing, incredible experience ever feeling him come out.
He was about 8lbs 11ozs (compared to kayla’s 7 lbs 3oz) and was 20″ long (just like his big sister).
I promised you guys would be 1st to see pics and get the announcement…so here it is:)
Thanks sooo much for all your prayers, support, and texts;)…we love you guys so much and can’t wait for you to meet Jimmy.

so we (eileen and i) were sitting in church worshipping on sunday when she felt a major pain, so she went downstairs to just relax for a second and call her doctor.
“so eileen called the doctor, and the doctor said, ‘no more monkeys jumping on the bed!”…oh sorry…i’m writing this with kayla next to me and she’s dancing:)
doc said to head to the hospital and he’d meet us there. well, we get to the hospital and no sign of doc, but we went in anyway. got a room, and examination, and were told with complete certainty that this wasn’t baby’s time to come out.
i feel bad for leen, thanks soooo much for all your prayers and support through all this!

As most of you know out there…i’m a HUGE yankees fan.
i’ve been doing everything i can to keep up with them w/i getting obsessed (i had to learn a real tough lesson from God last year when the Yanks lost in the playoffs….again).
i was pretty excited that i didn’t go into a major depression when we lost 7 in a row and 5 out of 6 to the sox. and now, we’re 7-3 for out last 10 games…and that makes me excited even though boston keeps winning. cheers to a good year of Yankee baseball;)

Ok…so my bad for not updating this week…I just thought the baby announcement was fun and worth staying up for a week:)
Anywho, lots to update you on this week:
1st: Calendars will be out later in the week (so check out our online calendar in the mean time). We were working on some last minute details and now everything is pretty clear so they’ll be in your boxes by the end of the week ~ sorry about the delay~
2nd: We’ve got Sr High Small Groups this week and we’ll be going over our 1st chapter in the “Growing to be like Jesus” book~ PLEASE have your lesson done…
3rd: Combined Movie Night in the cafe on Friday night from 7 - 9:30pm~ Bring You Own Snacks~
4th: Check out 2 new devo’s from Josh in our audio section and get to know Debbie too!
5th: JUNIOR HIGH CAMP REGISTRATION FORMS WILL BE UP in the parents section by May 4th. I’m so excited for this years trip…I think we’ll probably have 4-8 other churches joining us this year!!! All the info can be found in the reg form.

Eileen and I figured we let the cat out of the bag on lhcyouth.com 1st!! We’re extending the Donaruma family from 3 to 4 on about November 24th. That’s right everybody…WE’RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!!!!
The doctors say everything is healthy so far, and Eileen is finally not throwing up anymore:) Please continue to pray for our family and for Eileen to have a great and safe pregnancy!!!
I’M GONNA BE A DAD…AGAIN!!!
