Movie Night
Ok…so my bad for not updating this week…I just thought the baby announcement was fun and worth staying up for a week:)
Anywho, lots to update you on this week:
1st: Calendars will be out later in the week (so check out our online calendar in the mean time). We were working on some last minute details and now everything is pretty clear so they’ll be in your boxes by the end of the week ~ sorry about the delay~
2nd: We’ve got Sr High Small Groups this week and we’ll be going over our 1st chapter in the “Growing to be like Jesus” book~ PLEASE have your lesson done…
3rd: Combined Movie Night in the cafe on Friday night from 7 - 9:30pm~ Bring You Own Snacks~
4th: Check out 2 new devo’s from Josh in our audio section and get to know Debbie too!
5th: JUNIOR HIGH CAMP REGISTRATION FORMS WILL BE UP in the parents section by May 4th. I’m so excited for this years trip…I think we’ll probably have 4-8 other churches joining us this year!!! All the info can be found in the reg form.

why is it that tuesday thru thursday are 70 degrees and sunny, and today is 28 degrees and snowy? seeing as how this snow really isn’t supposed to stop till tomorrow morning, i think it’s probably in everyone’s best nature to cancel movie night tonight. i know it stinks, but i’m going to see what i can do to convince our missionaries to come back next month:)
i hope you all are enjoying your day off of school. my suggestion: boil some water for hot chocolate, put an extra spoonful of fluff in there for me, and flip on a movie with your family.

I just found this pic online:) i think i’m going to go and buy a couple bags of these AWESOME dinosaurs and test our coke vs. water theory…anybody want in? And a quick shout out to Alex M who showed the love and went out to CVS in Chatham right after iT and got me a bag…YOU’RE THE MAN!!!
Boy do we have an AWESOME week that started last night. As most of you guys probably know it’s MISSIONS WEEK here at LHC. On the youth level, we’ve got lot’s going on…Last night we met to pray for lot’s of our missionaries. Thanks so much to all of you guys who came out…i cant even begin to tell you how proud i was of you!!! It really is an honor to minister WITH YOU!!
Tomorrow we’ve got a combined movie night in the Cafe with two special missionary guests…The only problem might be the weather. it’s not looking too good. Keep an eye out on the blog for updates…i’ll try to update before 3 or 4…
We’ve got a special combined SS for the 9am hour with Will Dew!! Then we’ve invited out the Sr’s and Jr’s to join John Betchtel for lunch @ Cheeburger Cheeburger in New Providence. I’m thinking we try to get John to eat what this guy is bringing out!

yoyoyo…just wanted to remind everyone out there about our all out movie weekend!!! Jr High will be chillin with Josh and melanie on friday night @ 7pm in the cafe and i’ll be chillin on sunday nite after iT.
Make sure you come with some movies you like so we can pick from them…and remember please…no R rated movies or anything you know we’d say “no” to watching…
