Day 7…the close to our 1st week
can’t believe we actually made it through:) and to celebrate we did what most americans would do:
WE SLEPT IN AND THEN WENT TO STARBUCKS!
that’s right everyone, slept till 9:30am then took our time “Getting Ready”. we even did a little bit of filming…everyone gave some highs and lows: but we took it to the next level as well…when we had our debriefing team time together it got pretty intense. we’re talking like almost a 6 hour meeting where we all got a chance to look at each person individually and encourage them with the strengths we saw this week, but also to help sharpen them with areas of growth…
that may seem pretty odd, but i truly believe if we are a team…we have to be willing to be real with each other. the time for being real was so refreshing for everyone…even the ones who seemed totally freaked out about the idea. to give you a peak at that time, you can watch anyone’s video then read some of their strengths…i won’t list growth areas b/c that was just for our group:)
Strengths: Hard Worker, Lives life in such a way that makes people want to be around him, makes the best of any situation put in front of him
Strengths: Extremely caring, Takes on new jobs well, giving, organized, and a deep thinker
Strengths: A Caring Leader, Trustworthy, Wants to See each student fall more in love with Jesus, Real, not afraid to show weakness
Strengths: Protective of students, Surprisingly Handy, Motherly, Sweet, Genuine
Strengths: Has a Appetite for Life, A Born Leader, Ready to play, Extremely Hard worker
Strengths:GREAT with the kids, Very Insightful, Very friendly, Eager to help
Strengths: Extremely Insightful, Great work Ethic, willing to do anything asked, plays hard
Strengths: What you see is what you get, eternal perspective, goes where ever is needed, good discernment
Strengths: Encouraging, Caring, a Proverbs 31 Woman, full of wisdom, trustworthy
Strengths: Good leader for our students to follow, can bridge the physical to the spiritual, lots of fun, grounded faith
